Since ancient times, the various acts of orchid planting, beholding, painting and appraising had been upheld for the positive effects of purification and invigoration. The orchid is also renowned as the royalty of the flowery, a symbol of elegance and nobility. The collection of 「Rhymes of Elegance」by ASTER MA Haute Joaillerie was drawn from the inspirations of the orchid, presenting a finery of beauty and harmony, elegance and refinement. It was yet another brilliant presentation from Aster Ma with the interplay of real imagination exemplified from the creative combination of different gemstones. 「Rhymes of Elegance」 was a collection brilliantly designed to be worn either as a brooch or as a pendant, befitting different style for different social settings. Aster Ma added her unique touch to select a spectrum of gemstones reflecting a graduation of colors for each petal. Each petal was shaped after the natural curve of a blooming orchid, decorated with each gemstone painstakingly chosen and paved by expert craftsmanship. As such, each and every piece of the collection was a unique piece by itself – just like every orchid in this world. Each collection piece spells of its unique aura, attributed to the interplay of different gemstones and color amalgamation. The designer would give life to each collection piece, personally designing different pistils and tassels based on the character of the major stones and eventually presenting a uniquely manifestation of orchids. Semi-customization is part of the design concept behind the collection of 「Rhymes of Elegance」. Whilst the overall design blueprint remains, customers could have a choice of the major gemstones and make the various combinations. Aster Ma would also stay involved in the process of making to adjust and perfect the final creation, and also ensuring that the customers derive the ultimate pleasure of the work. For each piece of 「Rhymes of Elegance」by ASTER MA Haute Joaillerie, takes approximately 6 months for the entire process of gemstone selection to completion.
